Every Day Counts at Riverside Elementary!

At Riverside Elementary, we believe that every day and every minute of learning matters. Regular attendance and arriving on time set the foundation for academic success, positive habits, and lifelong responsibility.

When students miss school—even a few days each month—they miss valuable instruction, class discussions, and social connections that can’t be replaced. Likewise, arriving on time helps students start the day calmly, engage in morning routines, and be fully prepared to learn.

Instruction begins promptly at 7:30 AM, and students are marked tardy at 7:45 AM. Let’s work together to build strong attendance habits and show our Cobra pride by being present, prepared, and on time—every day!

Cobra Superstar Student Of the Month

This month we are proud to recognize our Superstar Students who are an exxcellent example of a true Cobra Superstar. Way to go Kinder Noemi Alvarez.

We are so proud of Noemi Alvarez who was nominated by her teacher Ms. Esquivel as a great example of a Cobra Superstar. Her teacher said, "Noemi is a wonderful kid who is always happy and excited to be in school. And it shows. Noemi is an amazing student who can read, comprehend and analyze beyond her years. She is the TRUE definition of a superstar student."
